Use of Quercetin
Quercetin is a pigment found in plants (flavonoid). Many plants and foods contain it, including red wine, onions, green tea, apples, and berries. Quercetin has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that may aid in the reduction of swelling, the killing of cancer cells, blood sugar control, and the prevention of heart disease.*
Addition of Bromelain
Used in both traditional and modern medicine to reduce inflammation, aiding in conditions like acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis. Paired together with quercetin, it has been suggested by studies that the anti-inflammatory benefits are greater than when used alone.
