Purpose of Ingredients

Elderberries: Helpful in cases of colds and flus.* They may be helpful to reduce inflammation, lessen stress and support cardiovascular health with their antioxidant and vitamin contents.

Echinacea Purpurea Root/Leaf: The contents of the herb have antiviral and antioxidant effects that can aid the immune system in cases of colds and flu.

Astragalus Root: Eases common colds and upper respiratory infections, strengthens the immune system.*

Rosehips: Rich in antioxidants, helps relieve colds and flu with high levels of Vitamin C.*

Ginger: Increases circulation and perspiration. It may also help to fight germs with the chemical compounds within the herb.

Elderflower: Used to help swollen sinuses, soothes colds and flu.

Directions

Lightly simmer herbs in water, just below boiling for 20-30 mins. Strain and serve. Typically 1-2 tsp of tea per 500ml of water is used. Easily prepared in a pot on the stove.
