Toe Splints
Toe Splints are a common and pesky foot problem for many people. The ligament that runs along the top of the foot, connecting the toes to the front of the foot, makes up the medial longitudinal arch. In some individuals, this arch collapses upon itself, causing pain in one or both feet.
Toe Splints Elastic Bands
Toe splints are elastic bands that are fitted around the front of the foot to help reduce pain and swelling in the toe area. They are typically seen in people who have an underlying bony toe deformity or arthritis of the first metatarsophalangeal joint. They are also used in some cases for people with plantar fasciitis.
The first step is to see your doctor for a diagnosis and proper foot care instructions.
