What is Ortho Active Air Cushion Ankle Support?

This device is an ankle brace designed for medial and lateral support. It can be worn on either ankle as needed with its simple design. This ankle brace compresses the ankle joint using air-filled bladder liners. The plastic stirrup holds everything in place allowing the wearer to adjust the brace as needed to provide the best support.

The primary use of this ankle brace is for sprains, but it can also be used for more minor ankle injuries and pains.

One of the favorite features of this device by the wearers is the foam inside the air-filled liners. This helps the liners not to deflate when the brace is being worn. It also aids the wearer to add or remove air easily as needed by using the lube provided with the ankle support brace.

The Velcro straps of this brace are easy to use and wide enough to allow people with grip issues to comfortably handle them. There are two straps around the ankle and lower calf area, allowing for the wearer to adjust the fit to best suit their leg shape without worrying about it being too loose and slipping or being too tight and causing circulation issues. There is also a single narrow strap across the bottom the heel to keep the support device from sliding up the leg or turning around the ankle. How to put on and use Ortho Active Air Cushion Ankle Support?

Using this product is very simple.

1. To start ensure the straps are loose enough that you can easily and with as little pain as possible slide the brace onto your ankle. When doing so, make sure the device is positioned properly as not doing so will reduce the effectiveness of this ankle support brace.
2. Once the brace is properly positioned on your ankle, tighten one strap at a time to ensure you don’t overtighten and can easily adjust the correct strap. After the first use, it’s unlikely you will need to adjust the bottom strap. Once this is done, you can go about your day as you would otherwise.
