Directions:
RECONSTITUTE WITH WATER ONLY
- Dissolve the entire contents of 4 sticks in 1 L,
- 2 sticks in 500 mL or 1 stick in 250 mL of drinking water (to achieve the appropriate concentration of medicinal ingredients).
- If drinking water is unavailable, use boiled or bottled water to prepare the solution.
- Do not boil the solution after it is prepared.
- Tastes are best served cold.
Storage:
- Store powder sticks at room temperature. Avoid extreme temperatures.
- Refrigerate unused reconstituted products in a sealed container and use within 96 hours.
- Use by expiry date.
Recommended Dose:
- Infants < 1 year: Consult a physician before using Pedialyte® powder sticks.
- Children 1 year of age: 50-100 mL per episode of diarrhea and vomiting, up to a maximum of 1 L over 24 hours.
- Children 2 to 9 years of age: 100-200 mL per episode of diarrhea and vomiting, up to a maximum of 1 L over 8 to 24 hours.
- Adults, adolescents, and children ≥ 10 years: 200-400 mL per episode of diarrhea and vomiting, or as much as wanted.
