Directions

Shake well.

Do not use Kwellada-P lotion on children under 2 years of age.

1. Make sure your skin is clean, dry, and cold before using Kwellada-P lotion. Before therapy, avoid taking a hot bath. To clean the skin, use a gentle, non-irritating liquid cleanser.
2. Massage a generous amount of lotion into the skin from the neck to the soles of the feet, paying special attention to the areas between the fingers and toes, under the fingernails and toenails, wrists, armpits, genital area, and buttocks.
3. Put on a fresh set of clothes.
4. Leave it on for 12 to 14 hours before removing it.
5. Use a gentle, non-irritating liquid cleanser to wash your entire body (shower or bath).
6. Put on fresh clothing.
7. If live scabies mites are present or new skin lesions occur 7-10 days following the first treatment, a second application may be required.

Temperatures should be kept between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius.

It is not required to coat the skin in a visible layer because permethrin will vanish when it is absorbed into the skin. Reapply the cream or lotion to your hands if you wash them within 8 hours of applying it. Put on clean clothes after applying permethrin and let the cream or lotion on for 12 to 14 hours. After this time has passed, wash the permethrin out of your clothes in the bath or shower and put on a fresh set of clean ones.

Body weight, other medical conditions, and other drugs can all influence the dosage of a prescription that a person requires.

If your doctor or pharmacist has prescribed a dose that differs from those given here, don't adjust your medication's dosage without first consulting your doctor or pharmacist.

One application of this drug is frequently enough to clear a scabies infestation. The majority of people do not require a second application. If you notice live scabies mites or new sores on your skin 7 to 10 days after the initial application, you should use a second application in the same manner as the first.

Caution

Itching may linger for several weeks after taking the medication. Only if live mites or fresh lesions appear does retreatment become essential. If you're allergic to permethrin, synthetic pyrethroids, pyrethrins, chrysanthemums, or any of the other components in this product, don't use it. If a response occurs, stop using Kwellada-P lotion and see a doctor. If you're expecting a child, don't use it. Breastfeeding women should briefly stop breastfeeding or avoid using Kwellada-P lotion while doing so.

Only for external use. It's possible that the substance will irritate your eyes. If you come into contact with something, quickly rinse it off with plenty of water. If you think you've ingested something, call your doctor or the Poison Control Center right away.
