Garment Steamer & Iron
Garment steamers and irons can both be used to press fabrics. The difference is that using a garment steamer will not leave any residual moisture or lint in the fabric, whereas an iron may leave water marks and hairs behind. A garment steamer is usually better for wrinkle-free garments such as suits and dresses. It's also best for delicate fabrics like lamé and silk which you wouldn't want to iron with a traditional iron.
